It has been a pretty amazing year. I feel like I have learned a lot as a teacher (only took 8 years). It has been really cool getting to connect with a whole new class of freshmen this year... like I did with Megan and Zach's class (2007). The highlights are seeing the boys at lunch time, Mr. Frontier, hanging after school with Shambo, Byerly, Every and the crew, getting tight with Mag and Brit, working in a building with people and kids I love and ... as always... getting summer off.

I am really blessed to have this job.

The pictures above show: (from top to bottom)

I think Jeff hates when I do this, because he is too dang humble about it... but here is the latest update on his book! It still feels unreal. To think we will see his book on a bookshelf in a real store in September. We have a new cover and there are descriptions and stuff. Basically this is all to say that my husband is amazing.

I heart you Jeff.

Pretty much the best author-professor-teacher-husband-pastor-carpet cleaner and baby-daddy ever.
