The New Cookstead: in case you haven't heard...

I am sure this website will not be up for long, but if you would like to see pictures of our new-house-to-be you can click here. It's a long story, but basically we were renting out west, decided it was not for us and are so blessed to have wonderful sellers and this cool old home down in the heart of things literally fall in our laps overnight. We have longed to be back in our old hood, and now we can be. woot!

really cute video of my boys. Becket bonks his head in the end, but don't worry, he is fine.
Augie is 3. We celebrated his birthday in a low key manner this year. We did his favorite things. We went to the pool, we took a big nap (okay, that is not his favorite but we definately needed one after the pool) we went to the library... yes, this is actually his favorite thing to do. When we were all done with that we went and got a Blizzard. For those of you who don't know, on the night I went into labor with Aug. Jeff and some friends and I walked to Dairy Queen to get a Blizzard, so now it is a tradition that we must have one on his birthday. It was a really great time with the boys. We think we will make it a tradition. On each birthday we are all going to play hookey and do the celebrant's favorite things... hmm, I wonder if we will all get pedicures next January...

PS, he got books from Daddy, Word World Cards from Becket, A DVD from Mommy and lots of great presents from the Grandparents. I am worried he will think every day is his Birthday.

AUGIE IS 3! That means we are graduated from speech therapy. We had our last day with our amazing therapist Jody. She and Augie exchanged presents, Mom cried a little and Dad breathed a sigh that he wouldn't have to keep Becket out of Jody's purse while trying to learn the thearapy techniques during one more hecktic morning!

Becket Reading at Barnes and Noble. He was actually a little bit more into getting in and out of the chair, but here he looks quite studious

Photos from The Mosaic Art Show: LETTERS. Atlas helped raise 300$ for compassion international... an amazing charity. The painted collage letters you see were created by my Freshman leadership class.

We tried underpants with Augie last weekend, to which he said "NO UNDAH PANTS!" But Becket sure likes them... infact Becket likes to wear all of them at once.

oh yea, and remember the cute pictures of the babies on day one... well here are all the beautiful mommies of those babies. Yea for friends having babies too! I won' lie, I felt so lonely in the parenthood thing among my best friends for so long, but no more. I think that was a lot of my joy with the super bowl party- it was baby time!

The Cutest babies in the world at the Super Bowl party and the cutest Doyle Spence and Eric Riley in the world too!

Our superbowl party with our Atlas family. It was a fantastic, beer filled, kids riled-up, hot wing havin' good time. And there was probably some football on, I didn't notice. (as you can see by the expression in many of these pictures, Jeff did notice) .
